Slate roofing tiles are recycled from old barns, houses and churches from all over the U.S. into beautiful hand painted clocks and signs.

For the last few years, I have been painting on slate tiles for Smoky Mtn. Slate Works near the Great Smoky Mtns. of Tennessee. As of the first of the year, I will be the new owner and will be offering some of the designs here on ETSY as well. I might make a new shop on here, but for now I will be selling under my Livesay Grafix shop.

This particular tile is approximately 6" x 9", hand painted with a scene perfect for the kitchen, or any room in the house. There is a space at the bottom for personalization, or can be left blank

For personalization, after buying, simply note me with the word or phrase you would like, such as "Welcome" "Debbie's Kitchen" or anything you like that fits.

The slate tiles may vary with textures and color. I prefer to leave the natural colors of the slate unpainted in the margin areas, making for a unique hand made item. The final product is clear coated for long-lasting beauty and protection.
